General Terms and Conditions

1. Organizer Identification

These General Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern ticket sales and participation in events organized by:

Tickets are sold via the external ticketing platform Weezevent, which acts as payment processor and ticket distributor.

2. Scope

These T&Cs apply to all private events organized by The Arena BXL ASBL for which tickets are sold to members of the public.

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending an event, participants fully accept these T&Cs without reservation.

3. Age Restriction

All events are strictly reserved for persons aged 18 years or older.

Valid government-issued identification may be required at entry.
Access will be denied without refund if age verification cannot be provided.

4. Nature of Events

Events may include, depending on the specific event:

• BDSM performances
  
  

• Sexual or erotic performances
  
  

• Play areas
  
  

• Alcohol consumption
  
  

• Dress code requirements
  
  

• Cloakroom facilities
  
  

Participation is voluntary. Attendees acknowledge the adult and potentially explicit nature of the events.

5. Ticket Sales and Payment

• Tickets are sold exclusively via Weezevent unless otherwise stated.
  
  

• All payments are processed securely through the ticketing platform.
  
  

• Tickets are personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable, except in the cases described below.
  
  

6. Cancellation, Postponement, and Refund Policy

6.1 Cancellation by the Organizer

If The Arena BXL cancels an event, ticket holders are entitled to a refund of the ticket price (excluding potential service fees charged by the ticketing provider).

6.2 Postponement

If an event is postponed, participants may request a refund by email at least 15 days before the rescheduled event date.
Failing such request, the ticket remains valid for the new date.

6.3 No-Show

No refund will be granted in case of absence.

7. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law (implementation of EU consumer law), the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure activities provided on a specific date or period.

Therefore, ticket purchases are firm and binding.

8. Admission Policy

The Arena BXL reserves the right to:

• Refuse entry without providing justification
  
  

• Deny access in case of inappropriate behavior or dress code violation
  
  

• Verify identity and age
  
  

• Inspect bags where legally permitted
  
  

Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry without refund.

9. Dress Code

Certain events impose a mandatory dress code.
Failure to comply may result in denied access without refund.

Dress code requirements are communicated in advance for each event.

10. Code of Conduct & Consent Policy

A strict consent policy applies at all events.

Participants must:

• Respect bodily autonomy and explicit consent
  
  

• Refrain from harassment, coercion, or non-consensual behavior
  
  

• Follow instructions given by organizers and volunteers
  
  

Violation of the consent charter or event rules may result in:

• Immediate exclusion
  
  

• Permanent ban from future events
  
  

• No refund
  
  

11. Volunteers and Safety

Events are supervised by trained volunteers.
Participants acknowledge that no professional security team is systematically present unless explicitly stated.

Attendees remain personally responsible for their behavior and safety.

12. Alcohol and Illegal Substances

• Alcohol consumption may be permitted depending on the event.
  
  

• The use, possession, or distribution of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
  
  

• Any violation may result in immediate exclusion without refund and notification to authorities where required.
  
  

13. Personal Responsibility and Liability

Participation in activities, including BDSM or play activities, is entirely voluntary.

Each participant:

• Accepts full responsibility for their own actions
  
  

• Acknowledges the inherent risks of physical interaction
  
  

• Confirms they are mentally and physically capable of consenting
  
  

The Arena BXL ASBL shall not be held liable for:

• Injuries resulting from consensual interactions between participants
  
  

• Personal belongings lost, stolen, or damaged
  
  

• Damages caused by participants to third parties
  
  

Liability is limited to cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct under Belgian law.

14. Confidentiality and Privacy of Participants

Respect for privacy is fundamental.

Participants agree:

• Not to disclose the identity of other attendees
  
  

• Not to share personal information about other participants
  
  

• Not to publish images or content revealing identifiable individuals without explicit consent
  
  

Violation may result in exclusion and potential legal action.

15. Photography and Recording

Photography policies vary depending on the event:

• Some events prohibit all photography
  
  

• Some may allow an official photographer
  
  

When an official photographer is present, clear notice will be provided.

Participants who do not wish to appear in official photos must inform the organizers upon entry.

Unauthorized photography or recording may result in immediate exclusion.

16. Insurance

The Arena BXL ASBL intends to maintain civil liability insurance covering its organizational activities.

However, participants remain individually responsible for their personal conduct and actions.

17. Force Majeure

The Organizer shall not be liable for cancellation or disruption due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed by Belgian law.

Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium.
